One of such accounts was the one with the name - Fashion Online  Store Ng. The scammers opened the current account  after people stopped patronizing them and invaded their page with queries. Several negative comments could be found on the already abandoned page, apparently, the reason the page was abandoned.

A Facebook user, Cynthia Chinny also narrated how she was duped with transaction details. She said she never got the products she ordered.

Another user, Nora Kaycee Nweke claimed she is currently pursuing a court case with the scammer and warned people to ''avoid them.''

A Facebook user, Akinkunmi Badmus Ogooluwa appealed to Facebook to investigate the page, while also narrating her experience.

Ebere Agbo said, ‘’ Big time scammers! It’s so bad how people do this and go about with a free conscience.''

As at the time this report was filed, this reporter made effort to reach the owners of the page through the whatsapp number provided, but calls went answered. Chats sent to the whatsapp contact were not read either.  The number was later switched off permanently.

One Kecee Johnson, however, blamed some banks for not taking action. He said, '' These scammers would have been out of business or been arrested by the police if banks are willing to help. By concealing their identities and not helping to track them down, the banks are equally culpable. I think the CBN should look into this.''
